With an illustrious career in fighter aircraft operations, flight testing and multiple senior-level positions, Lance’s remarkable leadership and strategic vision has placed him at the helm of Incomar.

With a solid educational background in flight test and instruction, he has a deep understanding of the complex dynamics of the defence sector from a tactical, operational, and strategic perspective.

Lance has played a pivotal role honing his skills from the launch of his career as Weapons Officer for the 8 Squadron, working his way through the SAAF fighter squadrons, where he advanced to a Pilot Attack Instructor and fixed-wing experimental test pilot a decade later.
As Head of Flight Operations for the Gripen Flight Test Centre, he later graduated as an instructional test pilot. Lance took up the position as Incomar CEO after he served as Incomar’s Project Manager and then later Head of Flight Test. He has accumulated more than 4000 flying hours in 60 aircraft ranging from Air Superiority Fighters to Gliders.
His expertise spans a wide range of defence technologies, including aerospace systems, advanced weaponry, security intelligence and cyber defence.

Throughout his career he has forged valuable partnerships with prominent industry players.
